Dear Parents!

Perhaps you are wondering what criteria we use to allocate places at our schools? On the one hand, we take into account the date of school registration and on the other hand, of course, the academic performance of your child. If you have another child at one of our institutions, your application will also be given priority. A place at the school of your choice is guaranteed once you have signed a fixed contract for the school in question. Please enquire about the monthly school fee by calling the respective school directly.

Information on the orientation level grade 5/6

After completing primary school, pupils remain in their usual class group as far as possible and attend the grammar school orientation level (years 5 and 6) together. According to Sächs. Schulgesetz §4 (3), grades 5 and 6 are the orientation level, only from "grade 7 onwards does a differentiation based on [...] qualifications begin". The International Schools Reinsdorf will therefore run the orientation level together from the 2025/26 academic year - parents and pupils will therefore have more time and certainty when deciding on the appropriate type of school with the change to grade 7.

Information on the school registration process

Please hand in the registration form: 

• the original educational recommendation
• the transition form (application for admission) signed by the legal guardians
• a copy of the half-year information for grade 4
• a copy of the child's birth certificate
• Proof of sole custody (for single parents)
• a passport photo
