The parents' representatives represent the interests of the parents and pupils vis-à-vis the school. Detailed information about their duties is given at the first parents' evening. The parents' representatives are elected by the parents in each class at the beginning of the school year. The parents' representatives then elect the chairperson and the deputies of the parents' council for the current school year.

The most important tasks are:

• to deepen the relationship of trust and cooperation between parents and teachers
• To safeguard the interest of parents in the education and upbringing of their child.
• To give parents the opportunity for information and discussion in special events.
• To discuss wishes, suggestions and proposals of the parents
