Innovativer Unterricht: Der Escaperoom in Klasse 9 IGR
Dienstagmorgen in Klasse 9 IGR: Statt des traditionellen Klingelns zum Ethikunterricht wurden die Schülerinnen und Schüler mit einem außergewöhnlichen Experiment konfrontiert. Inspiriert durch das Konzept der “Escape Rooms”, verwandelte sich ihr Klassenzimmer in ein Labyrinth voller Rätsel und Herausforderungen. Der Anlass? Eine einzigartige Lektion über das Treffen moralischer und ethischer Entscheidungen.
Emotionale Ballett-Premiere als Höhepunkt des »Romeo-und-Julia« – Projekts
Ein Shakespeare-fokussierter Januar unter dem Motto »Auf den Spuren von William Shakespeare – Romeo und Julia im Fokus« liegt hinter der Klasse 9IGR. Im Rahmen des Deutschunterrichts und einer fünftägigen Projektwoche setzten sich die Schülerinnen und Schüler intensiv mit dem englischen Dichter und seiner Tragödie auseinander.
"Are you an Addams?"
While others celebrate the start of the fifth season on 11.11, join a St. Martin's procession or spend the evening relaxing on the coach, the students of GTA Theater (er)leben once again set off to experience local culture. The musical "The Addams Family" was on the program at the Gewandhaus Zwickau.

A world without polio
Thanks to consistent vaccinations, polio is no longer an issue in Germany. However, as long as polio viruses are still present in Afghanistan or Pakistan, for example, we cannot be carefree.
Excursion to the WHZ
As part of the basic physics course, we, class 11 IGR, visited the Westsächsische Hochschule in Zwickau together with class 12, Mr. Becher and Ms. Höfer on 16.10.2023.
MDR provided insights into radio and broadcasting
On Tuesday, September 05, 2023, the 8IGR set off for Dresden in the early hours of the morning. The destination: the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk. As part of the German lessons, we were allowed to look behind the scenes at the broadcasting station in the capital and take home a variety of impressions.
The sixth grade cooks a performance control
As part of their German lessons, the sixth graders at our grammar school first wrote an unusual performance review and then more or less ate it. The curriculum requires them to be able to describe a process in writing. So why not write a cooking recipe? No sooner said than done!
