We were divided into small groups across all classes to take part in many different activities. Everyone was able to sign up for the activity that seemed most interesting and so the whole school took part in a total of 17 different activities. It is particularly pleasing that so many clubs and sports facility operators in and around Reinsdorf supported us by offering our young people the chance to take part and get a taste of what they have to offer. It was really difficult for some pupils to decide whether they would rather go golfing, tobogganing or bowling, play table tennis, badminton and squash or try out flag football. Highlights included a rowing trip on the Mulde, air rifle shooting, a course in the climbing gym or a workout in a fitness studio. Others simply wanted to go hiking through our beautiful countryside. At the end of the day, the memories are impressive: "Squash is really exhausting, I didn't get a ball at first, but later it was really fun." Or after the hike: "It was fun. Thank you." A day on which we dared to try something new, challenged ourselves and had fun together. Movement unites! We would like to thank everyone for the good cooperation and hope for a similarly eventful sports day next year.
