In javelin throwing, you had to get as close as possible to a block of wood without knocking it over. The difficult part: the spear had to remain standing.
In the axe throwing had to throw the axe in a round log so that it stuck in the mark as much as possible. The further in the middle, the more points there were.
A target should be hit with a bow or crossbow by means of an arrow. The further in the middle, the more points.
In addition to the four stations, there were three others where no points were awarded - for example, tug-of-war and target throwing with horseshoes.
Everyone enjoyed the somewhat different sports lessons.
Some of us even dressed up in medieval costumes.
