With 13 students, the Reinsdorf Bees traveled to Dresden and represented their school with dedication and fairness. Despite the unfamiliar tournament atmosphere, the players showed commitment and courage right from the start.
The Bees played a total of three games. They faced the Junior Hawks ( 00:07), the New Town Bulls (00:14), and the Dresden Monarchs ( 00:36). All opponents proved to be strong players and challenged the Bees both physically and tactically. The Junior Hawks and the Monarchs in particular could be interpreted as strong training opponents, as both teams have regular training sessions. Only the New Town Bulls are also a pure school team.
The focus of the tournament was therefore less on the pure result and more on the personal development of the players. Significant progress was evident during the games – both in terms of technique, such as passing and flag pulling, and in terms of teamwork. Team spirit grew noticeably from game to game.
Participating in the championship was an important step for the Reinsdorf Bees. The team returned with many new impressions, greater self-confidence, and high motivation. The experience they gained provides a strong foundation for upcoming tournaments and the team's further athletic development.
