Review of the Project Days 2025 and the Open Day with Autumn Festival at the International Schools Reinsdorf

The International Schools Reinsdorf can look back on an eventful week. This year's Project Days 2025 took place from 12 to 14 November - three days in which creativity, a spirit of research and teamwork took center stage and transformed the entire school into a lively world of learning and experience.

The week culminated on Friday with our Open Day, which took place in November for the first time this year and was combined with an autumn festival.

Since Wednesday, the pupils have been working on a wide range of projects, which they have created with great commitment and visible joy. The selection of projects once again demonstrated the diversity of our school profile: From historical expeditions into the world of the Romans, to creative experiments in "DIY meets chemistry", detailed insights into Leonardo da Vinci's world of ideas, to research around our sun or imaginative constructions made of LEGO - each group dedicated itself to a topic that both expanded knowledge and aroused curiosity. Teachers accompanied the projects as learning guides and created an atmosphere in which independent thinking, discovery and exploration were actively encouraged.

The open day afterwards provided the perfect opportunity to present the work that had been created. Families, friends, former pupils and many interested visitors from Reinsdorf and the surrounding area took the opportunity to view the project results, talk to the children and experience the school's special learning culture at first hand. The rooms were filled with amazement, enthusiasm and proud smiles - from both the visitors and the young presenters.

A special innovation this year was the decision to hold the open day in November and combine it with an autumn festival. This combination not only created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but also proved to be a complete success. Colorful decorations, autumnal handicrafts, hands-on stations and a cozy culinary offer turned the afternoon into a real community experience that offered intensive insights into everyday school life as well as space for encounters and conversations. The feedback from visitors was consistently positive, and many praised the successful combination of knowledge presentation and seasonal festivity.

The week showed once again how much potential our pupils have when they are given space for their own ideas, independent work and creative development.

Many thanks to everyone involved: the dedicated pupils, the supportive teachers, the helping parents and all the guests who enriched this day. We are already looking forward to sharing special moments of learning and encounters again next year.
