To achieve this goal, the students divided into different groups. The "artists" took on the task of designing the appropriate motif and transferring it to the wall. But before that could happen, the class had to mask off the walls. This turned out to be an exhausting task, but one that could be mastered. In another part of the room, where the microscopes are placed, a suitable motif was also painted. Meanwhile, the second group took care of painting the remaining wall surface. Those who remained devoted themselves to organizational matters and cleaning the room. Once, to the delight of all, even pizza was ordered.
The work went surprisingly quickly and peacefully. It was a great change from everyday school life. The students really liked being able to participate in the room design. At the end of the week, land and sea decorated the room with a wide variety of animals found there - an insight into two biotopes "to-go" via classroom art.
The class was very happy about the joint activity before moving to upper secondary school this school year and looks forward confidently to future biology lessons together in a now even more beautiful classroom. We thank Mr. School, our school administration, and our families for their support with our project.
