Eighth graders go on tour(s)

All these questions were answered (at least in part) at "Komm auf Tour". In the Muldentalhalle Wilkau-Haßlau on Thursday, November 9, 2023, class 8IGR had the opportunity to show all their individual strengths at various stations. In a wide variety of tasks, the pupils were assessed by trained staff from the fields of social work and education, as well as from the professional world of various companies, and were awarded "strength points". They were then evaluated at the end. How do other people who don't know me at all see me? What strengths do they ascribe to me? Based on the points awarded, the pupils were then given an external assessment, which (perhaps) helps them to get a rough idea of their career. All seven possible areas of strength were then discussed on the interest tree and career ideas were given. This was followed by further work in class on the thematic focuses of "Komm auf Tour", so that the pupils already have ideas for their future and possibly already have a (new) goal in mind that they can emulate.

According to feedback from the class, it was a very successful campaign organized by the district of Zwickau in cooperation with the Federal Employment Agency.
