Feverishly in the school cinema

As part of the school cinema weeks, two of our fifth grade classes took a trip to the "Old Gasometer" in Zwickau before the Easter vacations. After a good 90-minute walk, the students were able to marvel at the Icelandic children's and youth film "The Falcons" together with many other classes from the district.

In the subsequent workshop discussion, the students talked with an educator about what they had seen. Both the film, which was not only about a children's soccer tournament, but also about things like cohesion, friendship, but also family problems and their solution, and the cinema event itself were very successful. More than 200 students were cheering with the Falcons on the big screen and there was almost a lost feeling of public viewing.
