In a first theoretical part she explained us the structure of our food and what we should eat best and in what quantities during the day.
Using the so-called food pyramid, she showed us vividly that you are actually only allowed to eat very little of the delicious gummy bears - what a pity!
However, Mrs. Brunner also drew attention to the fact that healthy nutrition is very important for our body and our development: whole grain products and, of course, lots of vegetables and fruit should be part of the daily diet.
After a short break it became practical and we were allowed to be active in the kitchen.
There was a lot of chopping, stirring and serving. Vitamin-rich fruits and vegetables were turned into bite-sized morsels, which were then spread on tortillas with cream cheese or a curd cream - each according to his or her personal taste.
The final results were impressive and of course very, very tasty. Since our whole class has wrapped quite nicely 🙂
Many thanks to Mrs. Brunner and Mr. Seidel for organizing this interesting project day.
