The "meeting of the green professions"

With another action in the framework of our professional orientation at the school, our "Meeting of green professions" took place on 22/11/2022.

Four companies were invited to the school to present apprenticeship occupations from the so-called green occupational field to the students.

Participation in the national finals of the CDS

In September, I took part in the national finals of the chemistry competition "Chemie - die stimmt! After unexpectedly qualifying at the end of the last school year in the third round of the competition in Merseburg with a 4th place, this time I went to Leipzig for five days as one of the 18 best eleventh graders in Germany.

Successful Reinsdorfers represent Zwickau in the district of southwest Saxony

After two Corona years without school competitions, this school year can finally get going again. The International Schools were represented in the past weeks in the field of soccer in three age groups. While the "middle" boys in grades 6, 7 and 8 had to pay tribute to the strong competition, the "small" 5s and 6s were able to take second place in the Kirchberg area finals.

Melina Sophie Körner, student of class 6IGR, was awarded by the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Jugendzahnpflege des Freistaates Sachsen e.V. (LAGZ) for her participation in the competition "Bis(s) ich alt bin...".

Exploration and sports day for the new fives

As part of the method days for the three new 5th grades, there was an exploration tour through Reinsdorf on Friday, 02.09.2022 at the end.

We looked together at the most important spots of the place, then had a hearty breakfast and finally walked together to the sports field.

Welcome of our new 5th classes

Excited and waiting to see what the first day of school at the new facility would bring, the students of the new 5th grades stood outside the school gates.

Elephant, tiger and co. - animal encounters on all continents

On the Friday before the annual report cards, classes 5IGR and 6IGR set off for Leipzig together with Dr. Voit and Mr. Seidel. The destination of the excursion: Leipzig Zoo.
