Leipzig Book Fair on 28.04.2023
Last Friday, we finally had the opportunity to go on a field trip to the book fair in Leipzig. After the Corona pandemic had prevented us from coming to such events for a long time, the anticipation among us 9th grade students of the Gymnasium was especially high.
The big world of professions under a small roof - school's own BO fair
On Friday, 21.04.2023, the time had come. The International Schools Reinsdorf organized their first own fair for career orientation in the sports hall Reinsdorf. A total of 30 companies from Reinsdorf and the surrounding area presented themselves and informed the students about their activities and available training or internship positions.
"Come dear May and make the trees green again..."
As a music group of the International Schools Reinsdorf we were invited to the "Haus der Entdecker" Friedrichsgrün for the April senior afternoon to bring joy and spring mood with a spring program.
Feverishly in the school cinema
As part of the school cinema weeks, two of our fifth grade classes went on a trip to the "Old Gasometer" in Zwickau before the Easter vacations. After a good 90-minute walk, the pupils were able to watch the Icelandic children's and youth film "The Falcons" together with many other classes from the district.
Physics cabinet planetary system
We, class 8IGR, started our science profile project about the solar system on March 1.
Our goal was to creatively explore the solar system and then present this in the physics room.
Before the creative work began, we dealt theoretically with the individual planets. We did this to determine the appropriate materials for our project.
Debate like the big boys
Forming opinions and formulating opinions, making arguments and countering them with better arguments - that was the motto in the last German double lesson of the 8IGR before the winter vacations.
Our open day on 28.01.2023
After two years of eagerly waiting for an open day - in the truest sense of the word - we were finally able to make it happen again. It felt like at least as many parents were waiting for it, because the turnout was overwhelming. When we opened our doors at 9:30 a.m., the parking lot was already well filled and many parents curiously stormed our house.
A winter musical program
After a long break due to corona, we as GTA music/music group of our International Schools in Reinsdorf (SIS) could finally perform again. We have been preparing for this diligently since November.

We were saddened to hear of the death of Prof. Dr. Carl H. Hahn. With Carl Hahn, Saxony International School - Carl Hahn gGmbH not only loses a close friend and companion, but also its dedicated namesake and brilliant educational visionary.
