The last day of school for Class 12 had finally arrived, and although the weather wasn't exactly cooperating, it couldn't dampen our good mood.
We had previously decided to spend the night at the school to prepare everything for this special day.
When we woke up in the morning, the excitement was palpable.
Pleasant news reached us a few weeks ago: Four students from our schools received prizes for their successful participation in this year's "Kangaroo of Mathematics" competition.
Monday, 05 June 2023, was the day of school sports in Reinsdorf.
We, the classes 6IGR and 7IGR, took part in the medieval games. Points had to be earned in four disciplines. These were spear throwing, axe throwing, archery and crossbow shooting.
Whoever scored the most points was the winner and received a certificate.
This year again, we went to Chemnitz with our 9th graders from the International Gymnasium and the International Oberschule Reinsdorf, to visit the Vocatium trade fair. Beforehand, the students were prepared for the fair by a Vocatium employee.
For the first time ever, we participated as International Schools in the cross-country race of the Oberschule Lichtentanne. A total of eleven of our students were able to compete with the best cross runners in the region and were successful.
Last Friday, we finally had the opportunity to go on a field trip to the book fair in Leipzig. After the Corona pandemic had prevented us from coming to such events for a long time, the anticipation among us 9th grade students of the Gymnasium was especially high.
